ANDROID users have been warned that a benefit on their Google account will disappear in a matter of days.
Google One is the company’s popular cloud subscription service for all your photos and videos, plus extra space for Gmail.
It has 100 million subscribers worldwide.
The platform also has a useful VPN as part of the package.
But earlier this year the technology giant announced that the tool would be removed.
At the time, Google bosses said “people just weren’t using it.”
Those who took advantage of the benefit did not react well to the change.
“I gave up on Google and its technologies,” wrote one user on Reddit in response.
“Google is annoying,” commented another.
“I’m afraid to buy Google products.”

Google has confirmed that the VPN feature will be shutting down on June 20th, which only gives people a few days to use it.
Fortunately, those with a Pixel 7 or higher will still be able to use Google’s separate VPN feature on offer.
The move comes after several recent Google closures, starting with the Google Podcasts app which was shut down in the US on April 2.
It will be discontinued in the UK and other countries on June 23rd.
In more positive developments, Google recently made a number of premium photo editing features free to everyone – including those on the iPhone – which you can see in the video above.
