APPLE today offered a first look at its internally developed artificial intelligence (AI) model at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
And it has an incredibly fun iMessage feature.
Apple Intelligence – the iPhone maker’s new AI model – is capable of performing a range of actions, from reading texts to making Siri smarter.
But it is also capable of generating new and original images of your friends in a cartoon style.
AI can create personalized images based on people in your camera roll and photo albums.
There are three styles to choose from: sketch, illustration, and animation.
The new offering aims to make “everyday conversations more enjoyable,” according to Apple.
It works in a similar way to Bitmoji – but with a significant AI boost.
For example, if you think your mom is a superhero, Apple’s AI can turn her into one.
Genmoji
Another AI-powered iMessage boost is Genmoiji.

This allows iPhone owners to generate custom emojis with text instructions.
All users have to do is type what they’re looking for, and iOS 18’s AI injection will do it.
For example, giving the prompt “T-Rex wearing a tutu on a surfboard” will give you exactly that emoji.
