POPULAR streaming service Disney+ is adding new live channels, according to reports.
The feature is said to be similar to the 24/7 channels available on apps like Pluto TV and Tubi.
Always-on channels are rumored to feature Star Wars and Marvel content, according to The information.
Channels like this are popular because viewers don’t have to make the difficult decision about what to watch.
The channels have not been confirmed by Disney, so at the moment we don’t know if fans will be able to watch them.
It is worth mentioning that Disney’s ABC app already offers a similar service.
That didn’t stop fans from taking to social media to praise the idea.
“I’m excited about Disney+ adding live channels, just like the other streamers,” one person said. wrote on Xold Twitter.
“I think all the major streaming services should do this. The catalogs are so bloated that it’s hard to find many things.
“Actually, Paramount+ already does this, but I wonder how many people know about it?” other he wrote.

“Otherwise it’s just a bunch of AI-generated FAST channels like we already have on Peacock/Paramount+”, someone else he said.
