SOME Samsung phone owners have reported a green line on their screen after installing the latest update.
The alarming problem looks like a broken screen, but in most cases it seems to be related to the recent software problem.
But other than that, the affected devices appear to work normally.
Despite this, it is quite unpleasant and irritating to try to use your phone.
A small number of panicked users complained about the problem on social media.
The most mentioned models are the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Galaxy S21 FE.
According to SamMobileOther affected devices include the Galaxy A73, M21, and the entire S22 series.
One user claimed it suddenly appeared “out of nowhere during the night.”
Another wrote on X: “This is unacceptable for Samsung.
“I was updating this for the April patch, Galaxy S21 Ultra.”

It’s unclear exactly what caused the failure.
In a statement to The Sun, the company said: “Samsung is committed to providing the best mobile experiences possible and product quality remains one of our top priorities.
“If you are experiencing a vertical line symptom, please contact an authorized Samsung service center to take appropriate action.”
This is not the first time that Samsung device owners have faced this problem.
And other manufacturers like OnePlus have also been hit by this.
