The world’s largest rubber duck is on tour across the United States – and the next stop could be in your neighborhood.
Measuring over six stories tall, the rubber duck is a sight to behold.

Known as Mama Duck, the attraction will be on display at the Rye Playland theme park in Rye, New York – just 45 minutes from New York City, from August 16th to 18th.
“We are excited to introduce Big Duck to our 2and Annual Summer Duck Days at Rye Beach,” said Evonne Keeler, CEO of Playland.
“Mama Duck brings her enormous love and joy around the world, and we are thrilled to have her swim across the Long Island Sound to Playland.
“Throughout the weekend we will feature fun games, giveaways, photo shoots, fireworks and live music.”
The giant rubber duck is 18 meters tall and weighs 15 tons.
Mama Duck can float in the water or park on land.
She even has a motto: “The world is her bathtub.”
She is sometimes accompanied by a 10-foot-tall duckling named Timmy.
His recent tour stops have included California and North Carolina.
She was also recently spotted on the eastern end of Long Island, New York – about three hours from New York City.
Mama Duck offers a photo opportunity for the whole family and plenty of reasons to smile.

PLAYLAND RYE EVENTS
Mama Duck’s arrival at Playland will coincide with several other events throughout the weekend.
On August 16th, the theme park will hold a fantastic fireworks display at 9pm.
Then, on August 17th, Playland will offer two historic ferry rides during the day.
At 7:00 pm, there will be a tribute concert to Tom Petty, followed by another pyrotechnic display.
On August 18th, there will be a show at 2pm with music by Blink-182 and more children’s music.
General admission passes can be reserved in advance on the Playland website.
They will cost about $40 for adults and $30 for children.
On-site parking will incur an additional fee.
