A TRAVEL expert has revealed three passenger traits that everyone hates when disembarking a plane – and you probably have at least one of them.

Getting off a plane after landing can be a chaotic experience, with passengers wanting to get out as quickly as possible.

However, one travel expert has encouraged jet-setters to be more aware of their surroundings and listed three annoying features that everyone hates.

Passengers do not need to jump out of their seats as soon as the plane lands, they said.

It’s common to see people jump out right after the seat belt sign turns off.

The travel expert wrote on Boston Globe: “This is something that continues to confuse me.

“As if standing up would make the ground crew move the bridge to the plane faster.”

It takes about 20 minutes before people can exit the aircraft.

However, some passengers may feel the need to get up to stretch their legs.

The travel expert recognizes this and recommends that travelers stretch their legs as soon as they land, but make sure to sit back down, “relax and stay out of the aisle.”

A rude and fleeting trait that everyone is guilty of is running ahead of others.

You’ve probably seen arrogant travelers pushing others to get off the plane.

However, this has not been the case during the pandemic, which has seen passengers disembark depending on which queue is called.

This meant that everyone left in an orderly manner and no “asshole” was able to overtake people.

The expert admits that this rule can be broken if you are in a hurry to catch a connecting flight.

However, the expert explained that the flight attendant must be notified so that they can help you get off the plane faster.

Finally, people need to wait their turn before deciding to “push” others into a better position.

“If you are sitting in row 21, you should not leave until row 20 is empty,” explained the expert.

Trying to force your way in front of people won’t get you off the plane any faster.

Instead, the quickest way out is to exit through columns, according to one Air Transport Management Magazine 2014.

The study showed that everyone would benefit if people in aisle seats got out first, followed by passengers in the center aisle and then those sitting in window seats.

This would be a problem for families or those traveling with children, so it is unlikely that the system will become a reality.

However, an orderly exit is more efficient, according to the study.

How to Get Off a Plane Without Being Rude

  • Don’t jump out of your seat as soon as the plane lands
  • Don’t rush in front of others
  • Wait your turn
  • Your backpack or carry-on luggage should not be used as a weapon
  • Don’t pick up your phone and start shouting into it
  • Good manners, good manners, good manners
