FLY AWAY
Tap Air Portugal has officially launched discounted flights to several European cities, according to Travel and Leisure.
Economy flights will be eligible for primetime travel in the fall from September 8th to March 31st.
To get your own deal for one of the available destinations, you must secure your seats by May 21st.
Passengers who wish to include Portugal in their itinerary will also be able to add a stopover in the accessible city, at no additional cost.

Carlos Antunes, director of Tap Air Portugal for the Americas, explained that the “mega promotion” includes discounts on travel not only to Portugal, but also throughout Europe and Africa.
Just be sure to avoid blackout dates on holidays, which run from December 15 to January 13, 2025.
PARIS IS CALLING
Flights from the US to metropolitan centers like Paris, France, and Oslo, Norway, start at just $399 round-trip.
Other money-saving deals include a $409 round-trip flight to Madrid, Spain.
If it’s Dublin, Ireland, or Copenhagen, Denmark, calling your name, book a $419 ticket before they sell out.
Other options include trips to Lisbon, Porto or Faro, all in Portugal, from US$429.
Those with a more adventurous spirit can explore the Azores, an archipelago made up of nine volcanic islands near Portugal, for just US$489 round trip.
FLYING HIGH
Passengers who prefer to fly in comfort can also get discounts on business class seats.
Round-trip business class flights from the US to Lisbon, Porto, Azores and Madeira start at $1,749.
The airline is also offering discounts on business class tickets to Berlin, Germany, starting at $1,899, Paris starting at $2,299, and Barcelona, Spain, starting at $2,399.
All offers are for round trip travel.
The airline currently flies from several major US cities, including New York, Newark, Miami, Boston, San Francisco and the Washington DC area.
FREQUENT FLIGHTS
Tap is planning to launch additional flights starting this summer, for a total of 77 weekly flights between the US and Portugal.
The airline’s low-cost model is made up of three economy fare classes, including discount, classic and plus.
Passengers in discount level You’ll enjoy one free carry-on bag, but you’ll have to pay an extra fee for any checked baggage.
You can also rest assured that you are flying in good hands – or wings.
That’s because Tap was listed as 17th safest airline in the world by 2024.
