A new US airline is on the way, with destinations across Europe and the Caribbean.
Travelers can rejoice with new routes out of Florida.
Enlargement! it will start with E-jets, eventually moving to Airbus A220 planes.
The carrier is on the way to a former CEO of yet another airline group.
Although the launch date has not yet been set, pilots are being recruited.
The destination list will bear some resemblance to Air Florida, which no longer exists.

Ed Wegelformer CEO of GlobalX with over 39 years of experience as an airline executive, has a new vision in mind, sharing it on LinkedIn.
He mentioned that the first round of seed funding – or seed fundraising – has been completed.
He also highlighted that certification work is ongoing.
“We are advancing our regular air operations,” Wegel wrote.
“And we will launch with the Embraer E190/195 E1, while we look forward to the Airbus A220 in a few years.
“The E1 offers us a great range with an excellent type of engine – the GE 34-. We decided to use the name Zoom!
“Zoom! will work closely with UrbanLink to connect UrbanLink passengers and riders who will start with 500 hours.
“[They] will build flight hours until they can move to 190 and eventually 220 from Zoom.
“We will increase our cockpit crews.”
WHERE NEXT?
Although specific details of the flight routes are not yet known, they will have similarities with Air Florida.
Air Florida previously operated with some success to several domestic destinations.
It also had routes that reached Latin America, as well as Europe and others.
The exact launch date for Zoom! it must be determined when everything is ready with regards to carriers, pilots and other moving parts in creating an airline.
“A new scheduled airline using the Embraer E190 E1 and later the Airbus A220,” Wegel wrote on LinkedIn.
“[It will be] focusing on Air Florida’s historic narrow route network.
“Initial funding has been secured and certification work has begun.”
