MAJOR airlines are ditching an iconic freebie that used to be found on every plane.

Sickness bags are now a thing of the past – and there’s a good reason for that.

For decades, flyers found the bags in the seatback pocket in front of them — along with the plane’s security card.

But nowadays it is very rare to find one.

Bags were traditionally used for seasickness.

However, today’s larger, modern aircraft aren’t as bouncy as they used to be.

And with people becoming more accustomed to flying and new technology – meaning flights are less likely to take off in bad weather – this means fewer passengers feel unwell.

For this reason, many airlines are abandoning paper bags.

However, if you find a bag, it can be useful in other ways.

A woman recently shared an ingenious travel hack that means you can watch your favorite series even when there’s no TV screen in the back of your plane seat.

Katarina Mogus, who shares tech hacks on her TikTok account @katamogz revealed that she uses her cell phone and the health bag given to her on a short-haul flight.

In a video posted on her social media platform with the title “travel hack that will change your life”, Katarina demonstrated how it’s done.

We found the perfect airport bag to avoid charges

First, she took the phone out of its protective case and reached for the sick bag.

NextKatarina placed the paper motion sickness bag on the phone case, before placing the phone back on top so that it was securely secured inside.

Once the phone was placed back in its case, the social media user folded the excess sick bag for herself behind the plane’s folding table.

Then she locked it in place so it hung on the tray, creating a perfectly sized screen for watching Netflix.

Turns out a travel expert has revealed the best way to save space when packing.

Sneaky Luggage Hack

A WOMAN has revealed the sneaky trick she uses to get cheap flights – but the hack comes with a risk.

Brits looking to save money on their next holiday abroad will be familiar with money-saving hacks like Google Flights and incognito mode in browsers to reduce the cost of their tickets.

But one woman saved hundreds by booking her plane tickets using a very sneaky hack called skiplagging.

Skiplagging, also known as a “hidden city” or “throwaway” ticket, involves booking a cheaper flight with the option of stopping in another city.

The practice includes booking the stopover flight, and not traveling the entire route, as the traveler’s desired destination is the stopover city.

Sophie Partlow is just one traveler who has been using the hack to save money on vacation for several years.

She said Business Insider: “Ultimately, I have no regrets or angst about using hidden city tickets.”

“I feel like because airlines have controlled pricing and availability for so long, there is more power for Skiplagged to give some of that control back to travelers.”

While hacking is perfectly legal, some airlines have cracked down on the practice in recent years.

This simple trick will allow tourists to have extra space to bring as many items as they want.

In a video shared on TikTok by @melaniethetravelgirlthe organizing genius assured his followers that they would never have to sacrifice another outfit.

Meanwhile, this smart item will help make walking through the airport easier.
