A US airline is taking flying to new heights by adding another stopover just in time for summer.

The travel change is sure to make the jet-set happy, as more direct flights are added to a summer hotspot.

Direct flights will begin on June 9, 2024, according to a statement from United Airlines.

The flights will connect Newark and John F. Kennedy airports to Tenerife South airport, in Spain.

The tourist spot is home to Siam Park, a water park ranked number one in the world by TripAdvisor.

United Airlines boasted about its summer flight plan from the New York metropolitan area to the Canary Islands.

“Travelers looking for an additional new beach destination can enjoy the stunning black and white sand beaches of the Spanish Canary Islands with United’s new flight from New York/Newark to Tenerife,” they said in a press release.

“United will be the only airline to fly direct between the Canary Islands and North America, with three times weekly service, launching on June 9 with a Boeing 757-200.”

United Airlines also added that it will have more flights to Spain than any other airline of its kind.

“Together with new service to Palma de Mallorca, United will fly to more Spanish destinations from North America than any other airline,” they added.

HAVE A SPLASH

The number one water park in the world, voted by TripAdvisor users, is Zion Park.

Located in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, it is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

The water park has held the top spot for nine consecutive years – and not without reason.

Attractions include the Naga Race, a water slide for the whole family.

For adrenaline junkies, Kinnaree is a 656-foot slide boasting a “tornado wave.”

Those looking to relax also have options at the world-famous water park.

The Mai Thai River stretches for just over 800 meters.

Park-goers can sit back and relax as they float along the serene attraction.

There are also VIP experiences for customers looking for a high-level experience.

Siam Park includes the Champagne Club, which costs around $400 per night to stay.

Includes a bottle of champagne, “Balinese beds” and other high-quality amenities.
