Radio host Catherine Duranceau asked listeners, “Isn’t it boring when you wait hours for your luggage?”

She added: “I have a trick to get you your luggage quickly.”

“If your luggage is the last to be placed on the plane, it will be the first to leave, thinking about it, that’s logical.

“If only we knew all this time. When you check your bag, ask the airport staff to put a fragile sticker on it. This means it will be placed above the others to prevent it from being damaged.

“This is because it should be fragile and will be the first to be unloaded.

It turns out a frequent flyer has revealed the two pre-airport checks he always does to avoid travel delays.

R. Carter Langston spent more time than most at airports and learned valuable tips to ensure the experience runs as smoothly as possible.

Sharing your useful hacks with thriller he first explained how timing is key to a pleasant airport experience.

He advised travelers to avoid going to the airport in the early morning or late afternoon as these are the busiest times.

“Airports go through periods of heavy traffic, just like roads,” Langston explained.

He added: “So if you’re flying early in the morning or late in the afternoon, think 4pm to 6pm, expect it to be a little busier.”

The seasoned traveler’s next tip is to pack an empty suitcase to ensure that no prohibited items have unintentionally snuck in.
