A POPULAR tourist destination has a huge flea market and drive-in theater, plus a luxury car museum that’s free all year round.

People visiting the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area are encouraged to stop by this crazy spot.

Longtime owner Preston Henn started the business in 1963 when he opened a drive-in movie theater called The Thunderbird Drive-In, according to Stays in Fort Lauderdale.

It only had one screen when it opened, but more were added as film sales increased.

Eventually, Henn opened the main Swap Shop building in 1979.

It was later closed with air conditioning in 1988.

The original Thunderbird Drive-In theater now has 14 movie screens, making it the largest of its kind.

It is open 365 days a year and weekends are the busiest.

The store is also open on all major holidays, including Christmas, New Year’s and Thanksgiving, according to its website.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays the building is open from 9am to 5pm.

On Thursdays, the Swap Shop is open from 8am to 5pm.

Saturday and Sunday the store opens at 8am and closes at 5:30pm.

Mysterious, dusty items of all kinds, from tourist mugs to adult DVDs, are sold by vendors.

It also offers customers carnival rides and scary clowns, arcade games, indoor go-karts and flower shops, according to Dark Atlas.

Notably, the Hanneford Family Circus performed at the Swap Shop from 1989 to 2006 in the food court.

The Swap Store has been a staple in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 1979.

It has an 88-acre flea market that allows small businesses to sell inside.

The store also features a Ferrari Museum with a rare 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale, previously owned by the store’s owner, Preston Henn.

The Florida hot spot also has a selection of luxury cars for enthusiasts at the Fort Lauderdale Ferrari Museum.

It is free for all guests.

While this may seem like a unique addition to the strange store, car lovers will be surprised to learn that there is a rare car in the museum.

People can admire Henn’s 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale, which is one of three and the only one with a racing history.

It is estimated to be worth more than $100 million, according to Fort Lauderdale Stays.

Other luxury cars include Gunnar Porsche 935, Ford GT, Maserati MC12, Porsche 918 Spyder and many other Ferraris.
