A BEACH paradise is just two and a half hours from Atlanta, Georgia.
The travel destination is reminiscent of Bora Bora and its iconic overwater bungalows, but it can take Americans a long time to get there.

One of them recounted a luxurious getaway with her husband.
“My husband and I spent 4 and a half days in Jamaica at Sandals Royal Caribbean, we stayed in the overwater bungalows which were extremely stunning and beautiful,” they said.
“We have stayed in overwater bungalows in Tahiti, Bora Bora, and although Bora Bora is also beautiful, I have to be honest and say that the bungalows at Jamaica Sandals were much more impressive and pleasant.
“Not only was the resort beautiful, but did I mention we had our own private butler.”
The traveler praised the resort for having several service staff waiting for them during their stay.
“That’s right, we had two amazing private butlers during the day and a butler at night,” they added.
“Throughout our stay we always had the same butlers and my husband and I really liked them.”
Another decided to surprise his wife with a vacation fit for a queen.
“A year ago I received an email advertising the Sandals water villas,” he said.
“As my wife always wanted to try the overwater huts in Bora Bora, I went in and was glad I did.
“The experience was superior to what we heard about Bora Bora, with a 2.5-hour plane ride from Atlanta versus a 24-hour trip [hour] trip to Bora Bora.”
Yet another traveler who purchased the getaway for his significant other compared the resort to luxurious Bora Bora.
“To start off, I have to say that my wife and I really enjoyed the resort. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Butler service was top notch. Food and drinks were very good,” they said.
“Now, let’s go to the new overwater bungalows. We stayed in the St. Regis overwater bungalows in Bora Bora and they are just as nice and without long flight times.
“[It has a ] very large [and] spacious room with large deck, infinity pool, large hammock and stairs that lead to the sea.”
