A flight attendant has revealed the onboard items passengers love to steal – but it’s not what you might think.

Paula Gahan has worked as a cabin crew member for years and therefore knows the ins and outs of sassy passenger behavior.

The London-based Irish crew member works for an international airline and hosts the podcast ‘The Bad Air Hostess’.

Paula revealed a niche that irritates the cabin crew and that no one would believe.

Speaking with Irish times, flight attendant shared how customers – unbelievably – steal food from cabin crew.

She said: “It’s a funny old phenomenon on aircraft: whatever food is lying around, even if it’s in a lunch box, seems to be fair game for passengers.

“They come in and steal. Yes, passengers will steal your food without a hint of shame.

“It’s like an unwritten rule: If it’s visible in the kitchen and it’s edible, I can accept it.”

Paula even gave a shocking example of this terrible flying behavior.

She said: “I was on a flight back from San Francisco and bought a bag of Haribo for a sugar fix to get me through the 10 hour flight.

“I leave the bag on the counter and turn around to see a sassy woman helping herself.

“Look, we have to eat too, you know? Cabin crew can’t survive on airplane dust and toilet water.”

Passenger misbehavior appears to be a common occurrence on flights – and Paula has a diagnosis for it.

She said: “There seems to be a terrible condition affecting more and more passengers lately (and people in general).

“It’s called Special-itis.”

Paula joked: “The main symptom of the condition is that the person affected feels a little more special than all the other passengers, which is why the rules don’t apply to them.”

It turns out a flight attendant has revealed why passengers should always bring their own food on the plane.

The insider information was shared by Sean Price – part-time flight attendant and academic program manager for the Flight Services program at Seneca Polytechnic.

He explained how passengers may not be able to buy food during the flight.

Sean advised bringing non-liquid snacks and an empty water bottle in case there is turbulence.

Although liquid bottles are not permitted, most airports have refillable systems.

“So make sure you fill up that water bottle on the plane in case the turbulence is so severe that we can’t go out and offer you a drink,” he said. CTVNews.ca.

“If you bring snacks on board, you better have it ready so that if we can’t make it or maybe the airline doesn’t offer the service you expected or maybe the flight isn’t long enough to offer you a snack, at least you There’s some backup in your bag.”
